Foul-Play* - Foul-Play Vol. 1

This record is the best (IMO) hardcore record of 1992 - very hard to dispute!
No real anthems here, just savage beats wicked samples and everything I love about 92 hardcore rolled into a 4 tracker!

This is also the first release by Foul Play - DNB Legends.

Production on this release is also top class, Vol. 2 is well worth collecting, Ragatere being my favourite on Vol.1

Value of record: €80

Tracklisting:
A1 The Alchemist
A2 Ragatere
AA1 Ricochet
AA2 Feel The Vibe

Dragon Fly - Visions Of Rage

This is nothing short of a absolute slammer, what a tune!
This did get dropped a few times in Henrys by Shane Johnson, its also on the Feb 92 mix afiak. The producers of this record are still unknown, rumored to be Swedish or Micky Finn. The baseline in this is soooo catchy, I love it!
Been after this one for years, I am now the proud owner or 3 copies, 2 originals and 1 re-press.
This was also a big Slipmatt tune back in 1991, cained in Fantasia, this bumping up its value nowadays. The remix on the B sides is good, but no-where as wicked as the original - gwan the BLEEP!

Value of record: €100

Tracklisting:
A Visions Of Rage (Original Mix)
B Visions Of Rage (Remix 92')

DMS - Vengeance

1992 Raw Hardcore. What a wicked tune this is. This is the stuff that was played out a lot on the Pirates in London in 92, more so on the radio than at big raves. I was after this one for years as usual, I can still remember listening to this off a Kool FM tape in 1992 when I was working in a garden center out the back, skiving off work - what a tape that was.
Value of record: €30 approx.
Tracklisting:
A Vengeance
B Love Overdose (Remix)

Capricorn - 20 Hz

This is a big tune for my from 1993. First time I heard it was in Sir Henrys when Laurent Garnier was playing in 1993. This tune absolutely lifted the room of the club, it was unreal, I will never forget it. Once I started to play the old stuff again in 2003 or so, I had this in my box for some time, dropping it at every gig I played, always got a good reaction, maybe a little overplayed - oops!

Value of record: €30 approx

Tracklisting:
A 20 Hz (6:46)
B1 Didn't I (5:26)
B2 For The Soul, Body & Mind (6:10)

Various - Subplates Volume 1

Pure, raw, uncut hardcore breakbeat Jungle. The sound of the record is very dated, which adds to its importance as one of the most influential records in Drum n Bass history.

Value of record: €30 to €40 approx

Tracklisting:
A Sonz Of A Loop Da Loop Era Style Warz (6:50)
B QBass Funky Dope Track (4:56)
C DJ Hype The Chopper (5:05)
D Run Tings Look No Further (5:21)

Barbarella - The Art Of Dance

This album was released in 1992, it includes 8 different mixes of Barbarella, some good ones in thee, but the 2 best & most sought after are unfortunately not on this album. IMHO the 2 best mixes are: Barbarella (The Irresistible Force Remix) & Barbarella (Casper Pound Remix)

Value of album: €80 - €100

Tracklisting:
A1 My Name Is Barbarella (9:08)
A2 Barbarella II (6:57)
B1 The Secret Chamber Of Dreams (14:26)
B2 Barbarella Butterfly (6:22)
C1 The Future (6:15)
C2 The Spaceship (6:41)
C3 Barbarella I (6:05)
D1 Barbarella 2000 (6:19)
D2 The Mission (8:49)

Barbarella - Barbarella 1

While these mixes are not great, this is the 1st Barbarella mix / release. A bit harder that the other well known mixes.

Value of record: €50 approx

Tracklisting:
A Barbarella 1 (6:50)
B1 Barbarella 2 (6:56)
B2 My Name Is Barbarella (9:12)
